01 / LOCAL

Keep your footing.

Level 1 keeps its 5-tile radius. Levels 2–3 target 1/512 and 1/256 of the map, using 13 and 18 tiles.

02 / REGIONAL

Double the area.

Levels 4–6 target 1/128 → 1/64 → 1/32 of the map. Radii are 26 → 36 → 51 tiles. Target area doubles at each level.

03 / WORLD

Make the final leap.

Levels 7–9 target 1/16 → 1/8 → 1/4, using 72 → 102 → 144 tiles. Level 10 covers 100%: four times the level 9 target area.

How to read the range

Why do the target and actual percentages differ?

Targets are based on area: 1/4 at level 9, 1/8 at level 8, 1/16 at level 7, and so on. Radii use whole map tiles, so each radius is chosen to give the closest covered-tile count. Level 1 retains its 5-tile radius.

What does “entire world” mean?

Every tile in the same game world satisfies the distance requirement. It does not connect different servers or grant a bonus to every player.

What happens at the map edge?

Opposite edges connect. Distance follows the shortest route across those edges, so a post near an edge or corner covers the same number of tiles as a post in the centre. Tiles on the circular boundary count as inside.

Which cities or players benefit?

Range is only a distance condition. Post type, occupation, ownership and the existing effect rules still determine who benefits. This update does not add alliance sharing or automatic resource collection.

Is this the level of my city building?

No. The table uses the level of a trade post on the world map, not the trade building in your city or your commander’s rank. Selecting a level here only changes the preview.

Does 25% map coverage mean 25% of players?

No. Coverage counts all map tiles, including water and mountains. It is not a count of cities, players or actual beneficiaries.
